Long-time Rabbitohs Member and current Souths Cares Board member, David Dinte, and his wife Judy, have made a generous donation to the Rabbitohs Foundation which will be recognised at the Rabbitohs’ Community and High Performance Centre at Heffron Park in Maroubra when it opens later this year. David and Judy have made this donation to support both Souths Cares and the Football Club for future generations.
The David and Judy Dinte Theatre acknowledges and commemorates the outstanding contribution of David and Judy to the South Sydney Rabbitohs and Souths Cares.
David is a strong advocate for the work of Souths Cares in the community, having served on the Souths Cares Board from 2017 onwards, as well as being a passionate, lifelong supporter of the Rabbitohs.
Mr Dinte was presented with the plaque that will adorn the David and Judy Dinte Theatre in the Community and High Performance Centre at the Rabbitohs home game against the St George Illawarra Dragons at Accor Stadium on Saturday 9 April, 2022, by Rabbitohs CEO Blake Solly.
Mr Solly said: “The efforts of David and Judy for the Rabbitohs and Souths Cares have been second-to-none for many years and this recognition of their kind donation is very fitting.
For at least the next 20 years, every player, coach or associate of the Rabbitohs that enters the David and Judy Dinte Theatre will be reminded of the undying support they have both given to the Rabbitohs, Souths Cares and, in turn, the community over many decades.Blake Solly Rabbitohs CEO
“We thank David and Judy for their dedication to the Club and Souths Cares and we look forward to the Rabbitohs Community and High Performance Centre opening in November this year.”
