Cody Walker Ken Stephen Medal Nomination

The Ken Stephen Medal recognises the efforts of an NRL player who has not only achieved on the field but has committed time off the field to community projects.

Cody’s efforts in his community work and championing social justice campaigns continue to create a substantial impact; both at a local level and throughout Australia.

He has been a fearless and articulate campaigner against racism and bullying whilst promoting awareness around mental health and the inequalities experienced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities.

Cody has strategically and skillfully leveraged his significant public profile to start national conversations about these important issues.

Congratulations once again to Cody Walker for this incredible achievement!
