Rabbitohs v Cowboys to be Played Behind Closed Doors

Due to the current COVID-19 situation in New South Wales, and with New South Wales Public Health Orders in place until midnight Friday 9 July, the NRL round 17 game between the South Sydney Rabbitohs and the North Queensland Cowboys at Stadium Australia on the evening of Friday 9 July will be a closed event.

Unfortunately, only players and essential staff will be permitted entry to Stadium Australia for this event.

We apologise to any Members and supporters for any inconvenience this may have caused.

As a Club we are working closely with the NRL, Stadiums and the New South Wales Government to ensure we are compliant with all COVID-19 protocols. This is for the safety of everyone involved, including our Members and supporters.

Just as we did last year, we will be working hard to ensure that when you can return to the games that it is in a safe and comfortable environment.

Once the Club has any directions regarding allowing Members and supporters back to games to cheer on your team, you will be the first to know.

Current NSW Health Orders and community restrictions can be found on the NSW Health website -
