Ironmark Joins the Rabbitohs Community

The South Sydney Rabbitohs are proud to announce that Ironmark has signed on as the Club’s Official Indigenous Construction Services Partner and Official Naming Rights Partner of the Ironmark High Performance Centre at Redfern Oval until the end of 2022.

Ironmark is an Indigenous-owned, Redfern-based construction services company that provides support for the Indigenous community by advocating for an Indigenous workforce in the building, construction, and maintenance industries. The partnership will introduce Ironmark to the Rabbitohs’ faithful with a significant focus on educating our Members, supporters, players, staff and corporate partners about the importance of advocating for an Indigenous workforce.

Ironmark and the Rabbitohs have great natural synergies, one of many being the mission to provide genuine support for the Indigenous community

Shannon Donato Rabbitohs Chief Commercial Officer

“The Club has a great history of supporting the Indigenous community on and off the field with seven of our current top squad identifying as either Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. Souths Cares also continues to do a fantastic job in the local Indigenous community through the delivery of addressing education, training, health and employment needs.”

Sam Raupa, Managing Director of Ironmark reiterated the importance of the partnership and the role it would have in giving back to the local community. "Ironmark is a proud Indigenous owned and operated company with a passion and commitment to contribute in financial and non-financial ways to the development of Indigenous Australians, particularly to drive opportunities and pathways to participate in the building construction industry."

Ironmark will be supporting all Rabbitohs Pathways teams through Ironmark branding on all Rabbitohs Pathways jerseys. Ironmark signage will also be present at all home games both at Stadium Australia and the Ironmark High Performance Centre at Redfern Oval.

To spread further education throughout the Rabbitohs community, Ironmark has become a member of the Rabbitohs Business Chamber which provides Ironmark the opportunity to educate and inspire other Rabbitohs corporate partners within the Club’s business network to advocate for an Indigenous workforce.
