Chris McQueen was a versatile player who started off on the wing before making his way to the backrow.
McQueen made his debut for South Sydney, playing between 2009-2015 where he won a Premiership in 2014 being named on the bench.
He also played two series with Queensland and a match with the NRL All Stars. One of his career highlights would have to be setting up that last-play try against the Roosters in 2012, with help from Dave Taylor and Nathan Merritt.
McQueen played 164 NRL games and provided the unique ability to play multiple positions; extremely helpful in the event of an injury. One of his great strengths was his ability to contest a high ball so he became target man for cross-field kicks.
