Does Cookie or Bully get your vote at Hooker for the Menulog Team of the Decade?

Two of the long-standing Hookers over the decade go head-to-head to claim the illustrious number nine position thanks to Menulog!

Issac Luke goes up against Damien Cook after both dominated in the early stages of the voting. Luke played with the Rabbitohs in the first half of the decade (2010-2015) with Damien Cook making his Club debut in 2016 to eventually become the current Rabbitohs Hooker.

Both have played representative football for their countries and bring different qualities to how they play the game. When 'Bully' came onto the scene, he brought a sharpness out of dummy-half with his ability to get out and put his forwards on the front-foot while also providing venom in his defence.

'Cookie' came into the system initially as a number 14 where he brought impact off the bench by picking out the tired forward hanging around the ruck. Here he displayed his blistering speed which has proven to be his most damaging trait.

Check out the tale of the tape between the two as well as how the voting is going:

  • Cook: 123 NRL Games, 56.10% Win Percentage, 4 Tests, 9 Origins, 2 x George Piggins Medalist
  • Luke: 286 NRL Games, 49.30% Win Percentage, 43 Tests, 1 x George Piggins Medalist
