Full of confidence and energy Chris Sandow is in the running for Halfback of the Decade thanks to Menulog

There were only two consistent halfbacks over the last decade for the Rabbitohs which speaks volumes of the longevity displayed in that position.

Chris Sandow was the halfback from the beginning of the decade (2010-2011) with Adam Reynolds slotting in as a 21-year-old rookie in 2012 to the Captain we have today!

A cheeky halfback full of energy, Chris Sandow had a debut to remember after pipping the Warriors with a field goal at the death, in torrential rain at Mt Smart Stadium back in 2008.

Chris brought a competitive edge to the Rabbitohs and always played above his weight. While he may not have been the most consistent, Sandow had a certain ‘X-Factor’ few players possessed and could change the game with one play alone.

The perfect example of that was the 50-metre field goal he kicked to beat the Roosters in Golden Point back in 2011.
