Damien Cook and Adam Reynolds were the X-Factors South Sydney needed in order to progress to the Preliminary Final; the Club's third in just as many years!
While it took Cookie some time to flourish to the new rules, we are certainly seeing the benefits during the Finals! Coach Wayne Bennett said it was his best performance this season with the dummy-half notching over 100 metres with the ball while making 47 tackles. Cook also scored a try while putting on two for his teammates - he certainly is in outstanding form!

Adam Reynolds has been close to the most consistent player in the competition this season and he really does step up in the big games. Over the last couple of weeks Reyno has put the team on his back led by his running game. The crafty half ran for 78 metres and kicked six from six while facilitating the pill to his outside backs - a leader in every sense of the word!
