What a dominant display by the Red & Green last night! 38-0 and it was a game manufactured by the playmakers; Cody Walker and Adam Reynolds.
Match: Eels v Rabbitohs
Round 16 -
Venue: CommBank Stadium, Sydney
Cody Walker continues to prove that when he's firing, the team follow. He showed this back in Indigenous round and again last night.
Cody scored a brilliant try after linking with Adam Reynolds. He also had 6 tackle breaks, forced a line drop out and made an impressive 3 linebreaks!
His silky touch in the backline often forced a 'three-on-two' which also resulted in tries to the outside backs.
Reynolds puts Walker into space
One couldn't blossom without the other, that's what makes this vote so hard!
Adam Reynolds had another stellar game and has really put the team on his back in recent weeks through brilliant selection of when to kick, pass and run.
Reynolds' ability to dummy inside, crab across field and then straighten at the last second was what got Walker through that gap and he was later rewarded with a try of his own thanks to Jaxson Paulo.
One thing that stood out with Reynolds was how solid he was in defence. Often big Maika Sivo was using him as a bit of a 'spot' player but time-and-time again Reyno stood his ground and made solid first contact.
Paulo provides for Reynolds as Rabbitohs further extend lead
