How it came to be the winner!
Round 1) Rabbitohs Rally for Re-instatement vs Fenech Named Captain
In the first round the rallies for re-instatement came up against the moment Mario Fenech was named Captain, but that was no contest with the rallies taking out 94% of the votes!
Round 2) Rabbitohs Rally for Re-instatement vs World Club Champions
Again the rallies were the clear winner when it went up against our World Club Championship victory against St Helens; 91% to 9% in the voting.
Round 3) Rabbitohs Rally for Re-instatement vs Four Burgess Brothers lace up together
This next match up was not as one-sided but the rallies still managed to pick up 80% of the votes against a moment that's only happened once before in rugby league history - four brothers playing together on the same field.
Quarter Finals) Rabbitohs Rally for Re-instatement vs Greg Inglis' team try against the Broncos
Again 78% to 22% in the voting. At this stage it looked like the rallies could go all the way!
Semi Finals) Rabbitohs Rally for Re-instatement vs Sam Burgess' Grand Final Heroics
A far closer contest between the rallies and one of the most iconic images in modern-era sport; when Sam Burgess played on despite fracturing his cheekbone. 62% rallies to 38% Sam Burgess.
Grand Final) Rabbitohs Rally for Re-instatement vs John Sattler's broken jaw
Again a very similar match up to the Semi Final. John and Sam's heroics; almost identical moments and as a result, an identical result; 62% to 38% and thus taking out the Top Moments title!
