On This Day in 2011, Nathan Merritt scored five tries against the Eels in the Rabbitohs' 56-6 victory at ANZ Stadium.
South Sydney put on a dominant display. Alongside Merritt's five try performance (which equalled a Club record), Greg Inglis picked up a double while Dylan Farrell, Chris McQueen and Chris Sandow also crossed the stripe.
Sandow kicked eight from 10 goals to bring his personal tally to 20 points; the exact same as Merritt's.
