Player of the Game - Round 11

Despite a narrow 18-12 loss against the Canberra Raiders, there was a Souths back and a forward who threw their name in contention for the Player of the Game. It's up to you to vote! Thomas Burgess or Corey Allan?

THOMAS BURGESS

Thomas Burgess continues to build his game, putting consistent performances together week-to-week. Proving to be a true forward leader in 2020, Burgess had yet again another stormer of a game in his 150th NRL match.

He ran for 181 metres, made 27 tackles and had zero misses.

On one occasion, he dragged four Raiders on his back with a powerful post-contact-metre run which allowed the backs to capitalise.

COREY ALLAN

In only his second game of 2020, Corey Allan was thrown into fullback early on when Alex Johnston was forced to leave the field with a head knock.

He didn't look out of place at all, in fact, Allan was second to Burgess for most Rabbitohs metres with 156 to his name.

Allan was solid under the high ball; diffusing an early swirler in the wet conditions and also played a crucial part in Dane Gagai's try.
