Player of the Game: Round Eight

It's time to see who you think was the Alcatel Player of the Game!

There were a number of players in contention for the Player of the Game but you can't not have Dane Gagai and Thomas Burgess as nominees for their starring roles against the Bulldogs!

Dane Gagai

Dane Gagai had arguably his best game in a South Sydney Rabbitohs jersey.

The right-winger ran for an astounding 303 metres which was the first time a Rabbitohs player had hit the 300 metre mark since Adam MacDougall in 2004!

Gagai had a staggering 23 runs, three tackle breaks and picked up a four-pointer right at the end with that length of the field intercept try; a play that took us back to last year's Origin series!

Thomas Burgess

Thomas Burgess has continued to lead the way as the senior enforcer of the Rabbitohs pack this year.

Burgess had another solid performance in the middle of the field. Often laying the platform for the likes of Damien Cook and Cody Walker to spark the attack.

From his 15 runs he ran for 143 metres and made 29 tackles with not one missed!
