You may want to sit down for this one Fantasy coaches because the carnage has arrived.
A couple of great Fantasy scores aside, the weekend just gone was nothing short of a nightmare for almost all of us.
We may as well start with a little bit of good news. Damien Cook (103) was the player of the round and is now averaging almost 80 since the competition resumed with the new rules.
Ryan Matterson (88) was brilliant in a valiant Eels loss against his old club and after that it was all halfbacks.
Nathan Cleary (81) dusted off last week's shocker with a brilliant match-winning effort against Melbourne, Adam Reynolds (77) racked up the attacking stats against the battling Warriors, Mitch Pearce (76) also capped a good attacking game with a try and Shaun Johnson (71) produced consecutive 70+ scores.
Get Caught Up: Round 6
There were also good scores from the likes of Sione Katoa (73), Campbell Graham (71), Daniel Saifiti (70), Cameron Munster and Kalyn Ponga (both 68) and Cam McInnes and Harry Grant (both 66).
Scott Drinkwater (61) bounced back for those who haven't yet sold while Titans Jamal Fogarty (49) and Erin Clark (46) are proving the best of the recent crop of cash cows while Bulldogs rookie Jake Averillo's (48) price is finally headed up.
The bad news started on Thursday night with new Broncos recruit Issac Luke pushing popular cash cow Cory Paix (14) to the bench and Pat Carrigan (41) getting himself both sin-binned and possibly suspended.
Popular captain Payne Haas (55) got a 20-minute rest (although 55 points in 60 minutes from a prop used to be a dream come true so it's a measure of how good Haas is that that is now a disappointment).
Kurt Mann (45) scored ok but went off early with hamstring tightness that may yet impact his round seven availability and Bradman Best (28) was kept quiet for a change.
For the Warriors, Eliesa Katoa (25) went off with an ankle injury and is in doubt for next week while Wayde Egan (44) is set to miss round seven suspended. Jarome Luai (25) got the full 80 minutes but it didn't help his score.
Dragons cash cow Adam Clune (25) and Cowboys cheapie Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow (22) won't be making as much money as hoped.
In-form Tigers lock Alex Twal (30) is set to miss some games with a knee injury suffered in the first half against North Queensland, while everyone who splashed the cash on Roosters fullback James Tedesco (34) would have winced when he was smashed by Maika Sivo, resulting in a failed HIA. That and a six-day turnaround put him in some doubt for round seven.
Tom Trbojevic leaves field with injury
Tom Trbojevic (52) was on track for a huge score before tearing a hamstring; he now faces at least a month out and if you're in the 6% of teams who own Dylan Walker (1) his early ankle injury was a bitter blow.
