At the dawn of a new decade, decorated players John Sutton, Greg Inglis and Sam Burgess were announced as Life Members. Inglis, Burgess and Sutton Inducted Life Members (2020)

There’s no greater individual honour from the Club than being inducted as a Life Member.

Greg Inglis, Sam Burgess and John Sutton had been through it all.

After finishing 15th in their first season together in 2011, only three years later they were on the Premiership stage with flames behind them.

Leaders in their own right, they all captained the Club and led from the front in three very key positions.

What solidifies their connection to the Club is that it is on-going. Post-football, they still play vital roles in the development of the next South Sydney leaders.

Rabbitohs Claim the Auckland Nines (2015)

Coming off their 2014 Premiership months prior, the mentality of winning every single trophy was prevalent at Souths.

While Issac Luke didn’t get the opportunity to lace up in October, he now, as Nines captain, had the chance to lead his team to a title of his own.

The Final was up against a young-gun Sharks side and went right down to the wire!

A miracle Matt King try sealed the win and Luke was carried off by his teammates, as South Sydney added another trophy to the cabinet!
