Rabbitohs hooker Billy Brittain has been awarded the Canterbury Cup Players' Player for 2019, deserved recognition from his team mates throughout a strong season.
Brittain was nominated by his teammates due to his consistent performances and willingness to put the team first.
As the captain, he led the squad to one game short of the Grand Final, after falling to Wentworthville in the Preliminary Final.
A crafty but tough dummy-half, Billy wears his heart on his sleeve and puts everything into improving his game. After training with the first grade squad all year, Billy made his NRL debut in round 12 against the Parramatta Eels.
Rabbitohs’ General Manager of Football, Shane Richardson, was there to present the award.
The South Sydney Rabbitohs would like to congratulate Billy on this effort.
