Match Information and Ticketing

The Rabbitohs and Knights will come together for the first and only time in the regular season in 2019, and with both sides well entrenched at the top end of the table, it's bound to be an absolute blockbuster! 

Start your long weekend early by getting out to ANZ Stadium to cheer on the Red and Green! Gates open at 5:15pm, while the main event will kick-off at 6:00pm!

Rabbitohs v Knights History

While we have a negative record against Newcastle, recent history has favoured the Rabbitohs, who will be aiming to make it ten straight wins over the Knights, with their most recent victory coming in Round 9 last season in a 36-18 demolition up in Newcastle.

The last time the Rabbitohs faced the Knights at ANZ Stadium was in Round 2, 2016, with the Red and Green steamrolling their opponents in a 48-6 victory.

To see the last defeat against the Knights, you would have to go back to Round 26, 2011, where Newcastle denied the Cardinal and Myrtle a finals berth with a 40-24 win in the Hunter.

So far in 2019, both teams have not only been dominant, but entertaining, and there will be plenty of eyes looking at this one to produce an absolute thriller! 

Travel 

Valid pre-purchased match tickets include travel to and from ANZ Stadium on Sydney Trains services (bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations) and Sydney Metro services.

Remember to keep your ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport.

Your match ticket is valid on public transport until 04:00 the following day.

Direct Trains

There will be 1 direct trains to Sydney Olympic Park for Round 13, and an option for those travelling from Newcastle to swap over at Strathfield Station for the direct line.

1. From Sydney City - Central STation 4:42pm, Redfern Station 4:46pm, Strathfield Station 4:57pm Arriving at Olympic Park STation 5:06pm
2. From Newcastle - Newcastle Station 2:20pm, swap over at Strathfield Station 4:57, Arrive Olympic Park 5:06pm
