The 2018 season has come to end for the South Sydney Rabbitohs and despite not making it all the way, the boys in red and green had an incredible year full of fantastic moments.
GI returns
It's been one of the best sites all year, Club captain Greg Inglis back, running in full flight and having another strong season in the cardinal and myrtle jersey.
GI's on-field presence in 2017 was sorely missed but his 2018 return had an instrumental effect on this season's improvements.
The barnstorming outside back didn't have a shabby individual season either, scoring 10 tries, making 8 line breaks and 52 tackle breaks.
GI was also named as Queensland's State of Origin captain in 2018, making him the first Rabbitohs captain to be an Origin captain.
Walker's special moment
A special moment for Rabbitohs five-eighth Cody Walker as he helped secure a red and green win against the Newcastle Knights only a few days after the passing of his mother, Linda Stewart.
Walker scored a fantastic solo try early in the game, which helped build towards a valuable two points for the Red and Green.
It was an incredible season for Walker in the grand scheme of things, playing one of his best seasons to date and also signing a two-year deal with the Club.
Jenko's four, four pointers
Brotherly rivalries are always fun and it was particularly fun for Robert Jennings who reeled in four tries against his brothers in Souths' demolition win over the Parramatta Eels.
Nine game winning streak
Just one of a few milestones the Rabbitohs notched up in 2018 but definitely one of the best.
After starting the season relatively strongly, the Rabbitohs went to the next level during the middle of the year, going on a nine-game winning streak for the first time since 1989.
Falling at the feet of the Rabbitohs' winning momentum were the Knights, Dragons, Cowboys, Warriors, Sharks, Titans, Eels and Bulldogs.
Sutto's 300
Fox League commentator Andres Voss put it so perfectly, as Club legend John Sutton ran out for his 300th game in red and green colours.

Sutton became the first Rabbitohs player to reach the 300 first grade game milestone for the Club in 2018, a historic achievement considering the plethora of talent that have pulled on the cardinal and myrtle jersey during its 110-year history.
While the game didn't go according to plan, the week leading up to the game was fantastic, which was topped off with 'Sutto' receiving his own mural at Kensington Oval where he played his junior football, followed by ANZ Stadium naming the eastern grandstand 'The John Sutton Stand' for the following week's home game against the Eels.
Cooking up a Storm
When we look back on the 104 tries the Rabbitohs scored this season, this moment of brilliance from Damien Cook will certainly be up there with the very best.
This try summed up perfectly the awesome season the affectionately named 'sand shifter' had, which included a State of Origin series win.
Cook blitz the Melbourne defence with a 45-metre dash, whilst beating two of the very best in Billy Slater and Josh Addo-Carr on the way to the try line.
Clark strikes it clean (sort of)
It was arguably the most heartwarming moment of the season. South Sydney stalwart and people's champion Jason Clark, slotting over the final conversion of the Rabbitohs' 51-10 victory against the Wests Tigers, in his last regular season home game with the Red and Green.
Showing all the composure of a consistent NRL kicker, Clark put the ball over from in front to send the adoring crowd into raptures and in doing so he secured a 100% conversion record.
Reyno's three field goals
An absolutely incredible feat.
Adam Reynolds knocking over not one, not two, but three field goals to help send his side to the Preliminary Final in a 13-12 win over the St George Illawarra Dragons.
In a game where Reynolds scored all 13 points, the halfback also notched up 200 points for the season as well as taking his career tally to over 1200 points.
