The last time these two met it was the joint venture that got over the line 22-6, whilst also snapping the Rabbitohs impressive nine-game winning streak.

There is no doubt that the Rabbitohs will be out for a bit of revenge on Thursday, whilst also being motivated by a potential shot at the minor premiership.

Points to prove

Both sides will have plenty to prove heading into this encounter despite their respective seasons going on different paths.

For the Rabbitohs, they'll be hoping they can recapture the form of the midseason, which had them sitting pretty at the top of the ladder and after three back-to-back losses will want to send out a friendly reminder of their ability to their finals opponents.

For the Wests Tigers, it's a matter of building form for next year after narrowly missing out on finals football.

Controlling chaos footy

Walker focused on bouncing back

Throughout the week the stars in the Red and Green have been asked how they will deal with the no pressure football the Wests Tigers will be playing tonight.

It's a big task for Souths taking on a side with nothing to lose but also a fantastic test for the side who will need to be prepared for all scenarios come week 1 of the finals.

Regardless of the result, the Rabbitohs will be back playing finals footy after a two-year hiatus.

It's been a fantastic season for men in Red and Green who are looking to wrap up the regular season with a well earnt top four finish.

After a tough few matches for the team, Members and supporters of South Sydney should expect a big bounce back from the boys as they look to take some huge momentum heading into one of the most exciting finals series in recent memory.
