South Sydney Rabbitohs forward Jason Clark will take the early guilty plea for his Grade 1 dangerous contact charge following Sunday's match against the North Queensland Cowboys.
Updated Wednesday 3 July 2018 1.30pm.
In the 66th minute of the match, Clark was placed on report after tackling Cowboys enforcer Jason Taumalolo below the knee.
The base charge for this incident is 100 points but carries a 20% loading for one prior non-similar offence in the last two years.
The early guilty plea holds a 90 point penalty but due to 70 carry over points means Clark moves onto 160 points meaning he will miss the Rabbitohs Round 18 match against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.
Clark will be available for the following match against the Wests Tigers in Round 19.
