When the South Sydney Rabbitohs run out at Mt Smart Stadium in Round 12, Members and supporters will notice a change to our usual away jersey.
For this round only in 2018, the Cardinal and Myrtle will feature the logo of new club partner Play Up when we face off against the New Zealand Warriors. The logo featuring on the jersey is that of the PlayChip, a cryptocurrency and universal gaming token.
As New Zealand Gambling Laws do not allow Crown Resorts' emblem to be displayed in the land of the long white cloud, our official shorts sponsor are stepping up and stamping their PlayChip on the chest of the famous red and green jumper.
To mark this unique occasion, we will be auctioning off the 17 match-worn jerseys – signed by the Rabbitoh who wore it with pride on the day. Only 17 of these jerseys will ever be available.
In addition, whatever the cost of the winning bid, the winning bidder will receive 100 PlayChips for every $1 spent. Each winning bidder will be sent an application form which will need to be completed in order to claim their PlayChips.
It's a rare opportunity for Members and supporters to get their hands on a genuine limited edition collector's item from the halfway point of an already thrilling 2018 season.
