Juniors aim to bounce back in Round 3

After disappointing results in Round 2 against the Illawarra Steelers, the South Sydney Juniors will be looking to bounce back against the St George Dragons this weekend at Redfern.

Despite their brilliant comeback in Round 1, the Under 16s were unable to replicate their never say die attitude in Round 2, going down to the Steelers. This week’s opponent the Dragons will prove another tough test after they muscled their way past the 'Sydney' Roosters 18-12.

In the Harvey Norman Tarsha Gale Cup, our Under 18s Women’s team were brought back to down Earth after their Round 1 win, as they were easily beaten by Steelers 50-20 last weekend. This week, they face another tricky taste in the Dragons who grabbed their first points against the Sydney Roosters Indigenous Academy.

Finally in the SG Ball Cup, the Under 18s will look to get their first win of the season against fellow strugglers the Dragons and will be buoyed by the improved performance in Round 2.
