PTP Injury Report - Walker back in training

Update: Campbell Graham's scans have come back and he has a small fracture in his hand. Normal recovery for this type of injury is six weeks, however the alignment of the break could see him return in as little as two weeks.

After a tough 18-8 win over Wigan Warriors on the weekend, Head of Performance Paul Devlin gives us the latest update on South Sydney Rabbitohs injury list ahead of this weekend's Charity Shield clash.

The Rabbitohs victory over Wigan didn’t come without its costs as young stars Campbell Graham (hand) and Lucky Ta’avale (ankle) both picked up knocks.

“[Ta’avale] has got an injury to his ankle that will keep him out up until four weeks,” said Devlin on Lucky Ta’avale. “It's nothing too serious just an ankle sprain essentially.

“We are just waiting from the x-rays from Campbell Graham, it looks like he’s got a very small fracture in his hand.

“We will find out the next step once we get the clear results and the x-ray. Then our doctor and physio will go through the next step.”

Fellow outside back Hymel Hunt managed to avoid any serious injury after over-stretching in a strong display in the centres.

“Hymel is fine he just over stretched and could feel some pain down the back of his leg but he’s absolutely fine today,” Devlin explained.

Devlin expands on the fitness of our senior players, including Cody Walker, Adam Reynolds and Greg Inglis in the video above.
