Juniors receive harsh Round 2 lesson

Our South Sydney Juniors had a disappointing weekend in their Round 2 clashes against the Illawarra Steelers, as all three grades suffered losses.  

 

UNE Harold Mathews Cup

The Under 16s could not replicate the performance from last week against a strong Illawarra side. The Steelers ran out 34-16 winners at Redfern Oval.

UNE SG Ball Cup

It didn't get much better for our junior stars in the Under 18s, with the Rabbitohs going down 26-14. It was a valiant effort from the Under 18s who showed an improved performance after their round one defeat.

After last weeks dazzling display against the Raiders, the Under 18s Women were shown that there is no such thing as an easy match. Going down 50-20 to the Steelers who scored 50 points for a second week in a-row.
