The South Sydney Rabbitohs once again take on the St George Illawarra Dragons in another highly-anticipated Charity Shield clash and, for the first time in its 35 year existence, it will be played at Glen Willow Regional Sports Stadium in Mudgee.
Although a trial match, Members and Supporters shouldn’t take this game lightly.
It will be the last chance for both sides to get a full competitive 80 minute hit out before the start of the NRL Telstra Premiership season and you can bet that both teams will be putting in the extra yards to prepare themselves for the season ahead.

Build up
There is more on offer than just a footy match when we travel to Mudgee for the Charity Shield clash.
Members and supporters can meet the stars of the Rabbitohs and the Dragons on Thursday 22 February 5:30pm - 6:30pm and get you favourite apparel signed at Field 2 at Glen Willow Sports Complex.
Don’t worry if you can’t make it, there will still be time to see your South Sydney Rabbitohs before the game - with the team’s player prep session happening on Friday 23 February at 10am, an open session, where Members and supporters are invited to watch training.

Kick off
Gates open at 5.15pm and the headline match will kick off 7:30pm at Glen Willow Stadium.
Don’t forget the curtain raiser at 5:30pm, which will see the Queensland Representative Murri U16s and New South Wales Rugby League Koori U16s battle it out for state bragging rights.
Fun and prizes
One lucky Junior Rabbitoh Member, along with a Junior Dragons Member will be selected on the day to hold the Charity Shield as the two teams run out. So be sure to get to the game early so you don’t miss out.
Four 2018 Rabbitohs Members will also be selected to partake in our annual Rabbitohs v Dragons half time relay. Be sure to be wearing your 2018 Rabbitohs Member card or lanyard this Saturday for your chance to be selected!
Be sure to take the kids over to the South Western Corner of the stadium to check out the Rabbitohs Pass the Ball and inflatable footy field!
