Souths Cares were thrilled to be announced as one of six recipients of Redfern Commonwealth Bank's Community Grant.

The Community Grant will enable Souths Cares to facilitate a leadership camp for students participating in the Nanga Mai Marri (Dream Big) program.

The Commonwealth Bank Funding was confirmed for the next three years. Souths Cares Grants and Evaluations Manager, Angus Robilliard explained this funding would have a big impact for Souths Cares.

"As a charity organisation, obtaining the funding to deliver our programs can be difficult at times with so many other great community organisations out there," said Robilliard.

"The three year funding commitment from Commonwealth Bank means we will be able to deliver our leadership camp in 2018, 2019 and 2020, with planning already underway for our leadership camp which will be held early 2018."

The other organisations who received the Community Grant included OzHarvest, The Australian Children’s Music Foundation, Redfern Jarjum College and the Life Changing Experiences Foundation.
