Head Coach Michael Maguire is adamant his team is capable to put in a good performance tonight against the Cronulla Sharks and has faith in his players to complete their individual jobs required to bring home the two-points.

“Our team is very capable,” Maguire stated.

“I’ve seen our team a couple of weeks ago, go out and put a really good performance together.

“The boys obviously know what they need to do and we’ve got to do it on Friday because that’s what is required.

“We’ve got to go down there and get the win. It’s as simple as that.

“If we do that then the momentum in your season picks up and away you go.”

Keen to put results in the past, Maguire touches on the point that what happened has happened and that there is still an opportunity for the team to make the finals.

“What’s happened has happened, we can’t change that.

“We’ve had an up and down season. We are in a position now where we’ve got to go and perform and get it done and that’s our plan, to go and do that.

“Whatever position you are in at this time of the season we are in there with a great opportunity.”
