Whoever Puts On That Jersey Can Do The Job: Reynolds

Adam Reynolds is looking forward to playing a home game in front of a Cairns crowd while the trip offers an opportunity for team bonding.

“I love getting up to Cairns, it’s a nice part of Australia and we enjoy getting away together as a team,” Reynolds said.

“I think AJ touched on a little card game that we played a bit earlier. It gets all the boys off their phones like Damien Cook, he is always on his phone. So it gets blokes like him actually talking to other people which is nice. It’s always good to get away and spend some quality time together.

“The fans are very supportive of us and we’ve had some big turn outs in previous years. Hopefully the weather is nice and sunny up there and we can get another good turn out and put on a good display on Sunday.”

Asking what it’s like to guide the younger players throughout the year, Reynolds believes that each player has a job and has faith in whoever is selected beside him on the field.

“It’s just about them doing their job. It’s as simple as that. You turn up and you’ve got a responsibility and whoever puts on that jersey we believe can do the job.”
