Alex Johnston carved his name into the South Sydney record books with a record-equalling five try haul yesterday (Sunday) at ANZ Stadium in our Round 17 clash with the Penrith Panthers.

Showcasing his trademark speed and determination, Johnston completed a first half hat-trick with tries in the 17th, 37th and 39th minutes and equalled the Club record with second half tries in the 41st and 58th minutes

His remarkable feat puts him in legendary company alongside former Rabbitohs Harold Horder, Alan Quinlivan, Don Manson, John Graves, Ian Moir, Eric Sladden and Nathan Merritt.
