Braidon Burns has been training with teammate Adam Reynolds to gain confidence going into the Penrith Panthers clash on Sunday.
"Obviously the first game we played out at Pepper wasn't my best game," explained Burns.
"So I'm just hoping to turn that around this time.
"I'm really confident that I can do the job. 'Reyno' is obviously a really good kicker so I've had him after training every session giving me them and I'm really confident this time round."
Burns has described the vibe around training following the Rabbitohs Bye Round last week and the focus towards tomorrow's game against his old club.
"Everyone is pretty cheerful. There is a good vibe around training.
"Everyone is taking it week by week and we put a lot of importance on the game that is at the end of the week."
