With only a couple of points separating the Rabbitohs and the top eight, Zane Musgrove is adamant the team are still in it to make the finals and are focusing on each week one at a time.

“We still believe we can make finals,” Musgrove said.

“We are still believing we can build up some wins and get some confidence and get some momentum.

“All the boys get along well and there is a good vibe around training. We are not looking at the ladder or looking where we are at, we are just looking at week to week and taking it week to week and looking first at Sunday against the Panthers.”

Taking on what is described as a strong forward pack, Musgrove is looking forward to the challenge ahead but explains what it would mean for the team to finish Sunday off with a win.

“I’m looking forward to it, they’ve got some quality players there, Tamou and Campbell-Gillard there so I’m looking forward to the challenge.

“A win would mean everything, it would mean that we are heading in the right direction to play finals footy and it means everything to us from now on, racking up some wins.”
