Cody Walker spoke to the media about his position in fullback following the Rabbitohs Friday night Round 14 loss to the Brisbane Broncos.

After finding himself in the regular five-eighth position at the start of the season, Walker switched to the fullback role in Round 10 with Alex Johnston moving to the wing. Despite explaining that he has more work to do within his new role, Walker said is enjoying his spot on the field and is happy to play wherever the team needs him.

“I’m really enjoying it at the back there,” Walker said.

“I’ll play wherever the team needs me. The team needs me at fullback at the moment and I am happy to go there.

“Obviously I’ve got to do a bit of work combination wise with Reyno (Adam Reynolds) and John Sutton. I thought we had a lot of opportunity on the weekend but let ourselves down with execution errors at crucial times.”

Walker describes that his side is not where they want to be at this point in the season and are looking to turn it around with a win against the Titans on Friday night where teammate John Sutton will run out for his 300th all grades South Sydney Rabbitohs match.

“We are not where we want to be at the moment.

“We are looking to turn it around this weekend against the Titans.”
