Set to make his Country Origin debut in the last City/Country Origin clash, Damien Cook is relishing the opportunity to showcase his ability to representative selectors for future fixtures.

Cook, who played his junior football for the Helensburgh Tigers in the Illawarra Rugby League Competition, adds another notch to his representative career after being picked for the World All Stars earlier this year.

"I'm very excited," said Cook.

"It's the last one they're having and I haven't had a chance to get a Country jersey before in any age group so I'm very happy and very excited."

Cook is expecting an exciting game with plenty of individual talent on display at Glen Willow Regional Sports Stadium, Mudgee.

"I think it's best to keep things mostly simple and let the halves play their plays," said Cook.

"It's a pretty simple footy game plan and it lets everyone's individual talents come out and it's a more enjoyable game. I really enjoy the rep week.

"It's good fun being in that environment, getting away from the week-to-week footy of Club footy and go away there and put your best foot forward for other representative games."
