Rabbitohs’ enforcer Zane Musgrove is looking forward to the battle of the forwards in Friday night’s clash against the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles at Allianz Stadium.

Musgrove believes that the battle in the middle is key to winning the match and that the actual battle will be a challenge too.

“I’m looking forward to the big battle in the middle,” explained Musgrove.

“Coming up against Manly, they have some big boys in the middle and it will be a good challenge for us as a pack so I’m looking forward to it.”

The match-ups in the game this Friday night at Allianz Stadium are plentiful, but Musgrove’s main focus is on Sea Eagles’ forward Martin Taupau.

“He brings a lot to their team and I’ll be aiming up against him so it will be a good battle, I haven’t played against him before.

“As a middle, you have got to enjoy those opportunities, you can’t shy away from that stuff that’s your job in the middle.”

After last week’s loss against the Broncos, the Rabbitohs side is looking forward to putting in an improved performance this week to get the two points.

“We are putting everything into this performance to get that two points. A few moments in the game that cost us were disciplinary so we just need to tidy that up and get it right this week.

“The past couple of weeks we have come a bit short and just didn’t get over the line, so we need it.”
