The Warriors have extended their lead at the top of the Intrust Super Premiership NSW ladder, claiming a strong 24-8 victory over the North Sydney Bears at North Sydney Oval.

The opening 40 minutes of the contest were hardly fought as both teams were unable to do significant damage on the scoreboard, and it took a Tu’imoala Loholea intercept in the second half to swing the momentum of the contest.

The Bears continued to work hard for field position but were unable to execute their constant attacking raids and the Warriors eventually ran away with another victory that was inspired by nifty halfback Mason Lino. Although the score did not reflect the incredible goal-line defence of the Bears, the Warriors proved too strong with their abundance of strike-power out wide.
