It's a case of art imitating life; In 2009, a young Alex Johnston played the part of a young Greg Inglis in the NRL's 'Feel It' commercial and now the young fullback is stepping into Inglis' fullback position after his ACL injury.
"Greg's a great player and I'm really trying to keep my confidence high and improve each week," said Johnston when asked about his new role on the field.
"At the moment it's sort of baby steps, I'm really just trying to improve on the basics. I've played fullback when Greg hasn't been there in the past and he gives me advice."
The ad was a promotion for the NRL season and featured Alex Johnston as a 14 year old kid morphing into Greg Inglis.
