Walk The 65K 4 65 Roses Walkathon For Cystic Fibrosis And The Children's Hospital Westmead

Can you walk? Can you walk to support the Children's Hospital Westmead and Cystic Fibrosis NSW? Are you busy tomorrow morning? Suttons City Rosebery identity Pat Borg will be walking the 65 Roses Walkathon and Randwick Rugby is pleased to support him.

The 65K 4 65 Roses Walkathon is a fun run and endurance event, from a 7 km family friendly walk to a 65 km endurance run. The event was first held in 2008 as a community fundraising event for Cystic Fibrosis NSW. In the eight years since its inception over $800,000 has been raised for Cystic Fibrosis NSW and the Children’s Hospital Westmead.

Rabbitohs CEO Blake Solly will be taking part in the event with Rabbitohs corporate partner Pat Borg from Suttons.

The 2017 event hopes to raise $300,000 and attract over 750 participants. To put these targets in perspective, the 2016 event raised $250,000 and attracted 452 participants. On both counts this was a 100% increase from the 2015 event.

The purpose of the event is to support Cystic Fibrosis (CF) in NSW. Walking 65K is tough but living with an incurable and life shortening illness is tougher and all proceeds from the event are used by Cystic Fibrosis NSW and The Children’s Hospital Westmead to support people living with Cystic Fibrosis.

Your help and support is needed to help break the records of last year and support these worthwhile organisations. The venue is Sydney's Bay Run at Iron Cove Bay - join Pat and walk to support or simply donate at the link below.
