Despite having five NRL caps under his name, Robert Jennings is eager to grasp the opportunity to run out this season for a game in the Cardinal and Myrtle.

“It would definitely mean a lot to play for a Club that has so much history behind it,” explained Jennings.

“It would be really good but that’s my main goal, to train hard and hopefully get a crack at it.”

Describing the hard work the players are putting in at training, Jennings is focused on the Charity Shield and hoping the hard work will pay off.

“It’s really good, everyone’s working hard. We’ve worked so hard, now we are into the trials so our main focus is this week on the Charity Shield game.”

Jennings will be looking to put all his energy into training and the game starting off with having another crack to impress Coach Michael Maguire today.

“Train hard and hopefully play some good footy and then see if everything comes off the back of that.”
