Angus Crichton is confident his debut year has provided him with experience to feel more comfortable rolling into the 2017 season.

“I’m feeling pretty good this preseason,” Crichton stated.

“Having last year under my belt I have a lot more confidence and better connections and combinations with the players so with Reyno (Adam Reynolds) and Cody (Walker) I’m comfortable both on the left and right now having played with both of them last season so I’m looking forward to this year.”

Already having a crack at the game through the Auckland Nines and Campbelltown trial, Crichton is eager to get back out on the field for tomorrow’s clash against the Dragons.

“Everyone’s just really excited for this weekend,

“We’ve got Charity Shield and I just can’t wait to get back out on the footy field and have a bit of fun.”

Crichton explained that the team’s mentality is concentrated on each week’s game with the overall goal to win as many games as possible starting with this weekend.

“Obviously we are looking week to week at the moment, we haven’t had any big chats about the season as a whole, obviously though to win, we want to win as many games as we can and that starts this weekend with the Dragons.”
