Braidon Burns made the breakthrough against the North Queensland Cowboys in Game Three of our Auckland Nines tournament to claw us back into the contest in the first half.

Receiving the ball from Cook from dummy half, Burns went on a probing run across the Cowboys line before spotting a gap and powering through it to get the Rabbitohs on the board in the 7th minute.

It would trigger a fightback which would see the scores leveled at 8-all early in the second half before the Cowboys would take control of the game - Although the Rabbitohs would prove their toughest opponents from the Hunua Pool.
