After playing the role of Santa for his family over the Christmas period, Adam Reynolds is back on the footy field in preparation for the start of the season.

“It was good, always an eventful time of year having three young children so always waking up early Christmas day to unravel some presents so I played the role of Santa again and enjoyed it,” recollected Reynolds.

With the whole squad back on deck, Reynolds says the focus is working on last minute combinations and making sure that everyone is fully committed to the season ahead.

“Obviously to get the body right before the season starts, work on last minute combinations and make sure everyone’s focused and fully committed to the season ahead.

“The moods good, we’ve got everyone back on deck now, GI’s (Greg Inglis) back, Sammy (Sam Burgess) and the other boys returned a bit earlier but it’s good to get the full squad in, we’ve got some combinations to work on and get things right before we jump back into footy.

“Everyone’s excited and raring to go.”
