Souths Cares spent Thursday at the Redfern Community Centre giving out Rabbitohs gift packs to local children.
With Dane Nielsen, Brett Greinke and Beau Champion helping out, the Souths Cares squad gave out over 400 Rabbitohs hats, 300 Rabbitohs Junior Membership Packs, Rabbitohs stickers and Greg Inglis activity books.
It was a beautiful day for Souths Cares to connect with the local Redfern community after returning from their Regional Oral Health Tour on the mid north coast. The event drew a crowd of roughly 600 residents from around the Redfern area.
Getting out into the community and using their influence as NRL players to help out is something that comes naturally for Nielsen, Greinke and Champion. The whole Rabbitohs playing squad have been working closely with Souths Cares in 2016 through hospital visits, oral health awareness campaigns and community appearances.
