With voting open for the Rugby League All Stars, we're looking back at our Indigenous Round clash with the Dragons when we donned our special Indigenous Round Jersey.

Alex Johnston has been proud of his Indigenous heritage since a child - being taught about his heritage and culture by his grandmother. AJ was inspired when he discovered his Totem (the Crocodile) after doing research into his culture during the design process of this year's Indigenous Jersey.

“I only figured that out about a month ago really – I did a bit of research," said Johnston.

“It’s the Crocodile, from the Crocodile Clan of Saibai Island – that’s where my people are from.

“I’m very proud of it and it’ll be definitely a lot of inspiration for me when I’m playing.”

Johnston enjoyed another succesful year at the Rabbitohs, topping the toy try scorer charts for the third time in three years.

Vote for Alex Johnston to play in the NRL All Stars Clash to be played on Friday 10th February 2017 here!
