Rabbitohs centre Aaron Gray is feeling refreshed and energised after a couple of months off and is looking forward to getting back out on the field in 2017.
“It was a good couple of months off, getting away and having a nice break to freshen up the body and the mind so definitely ready to get back and start ripping into training like we have the last few weeks,” said Gray.
With three weeks of pre-season training done, Gray is focused on putting in the hard yards now and staying fit before the season begins in the new year.
“We’ve been working hard in the gym so it’s been a good couple of weeks,
“I think we all have goals to get a fair amount of kilometres in our legs before the season starts to build the body up and the muscles to get ready for 30 weeks of footy ahead of us.
“It’s a tough time but it’s really good.”
