We Catch Up With Adam Reynolds

With pre-season back underway, we caught up with Rabbitohs halfback, Adam Reynolds (with an appearance from teammate Damien Cook) to talk about his time off the field and the build up towards season 2017.

The break has been an eventful one for Reynolds with the NSW halfback celebrating his Bucks Party in Las Vegas while also learning that his partner, Tallara is expecting their fourth child.

“Obviously (I’ve been) keeping busy throughout the break which is always good. It’s a pretty lonely time without training or playing footy,” said the Souths junior.

“It was good to get over to Vegas with the boys and good to get back in with the family.”

Reynolds was also able to take part in ‘McHappy Day’ to assist in raising funds for Ronald McDonald House to help seriously ill children and their families – something he enjoys being a part of.

“I got to experience a side to work that I’ve never done before – it’s pretty difficult actually.

“Obviously McHappy Day was a successful day, I love always being involved with that.”

Having had the opportunity to have some time away from football, Reynolds is now back into the swing of things and looking forward to working towards the 2017 season.

“The first week was definitely a shock to the system. It was definitely a wake up to the old lungs,” said the premiership winning half.

“We’re second week in now and I’m starting to get the kilometers under the legs and feeling much better.

“The new boys here give it a breath of fresh air, so that’s also welcoming. The boys are working really hard and working towards one goal.”
