The South Sydney Rabbitohs would like to congratulate Cody Walker on claiming the 2016 Dally M Rookie Of The Year award.
Cody Walker joins an elite group of Rabbitohs to claim the Dally M Rookie Of The Year Award in their debut year. Walker has emulated the feats of fellow teammates Adam Reynolds and George Burgess and follows in the footsteps of hooker Jim Sedaris.
Walker claims his Dally M Rookie Of The Year Award off the back of an incredible breakout year in which the 26 year old, five-eighth established himself as a leading figure in the 2016 Rabbitohs squad. During his 20 matches in the Red & Green, Walker notched eight tries and made a team high of twelve try assists whilst running for 2022 metres and 303 tackles.
A well deserved award to cap off an exciting and incredible 2016. With Walker signing on to the Rabbitohs for the next three seasons we're looking forward to enjoying some more Cody Walker Magic in the campaigns to come!
