This Is The Best PMXIII Side We've Had: Inglis

PMXIII Captain Greg Inglis is excited to take a strong line up to Port Moresby to face the PNG Kumuls in front of a fanatical NRL-loving crowd. For Inglis, it'll be the first time in his career and he's ready to make the most of what he sees as a trial for the Four Nations Tour later this year.

With the upcoming birth of his next child with partner Sally Inglis looking likely to keep him away from Perth for the Australia V New Zealand Test match and missing out on finals footy in 2016, Inglis is ready to take his opportunity in the PMXIII's clash to earn a place in the Meninga's Four Nations squad.

Named as Captain, GI is looking forward to taking the field with a strong line up - one that he declares the "best side we've had since this started." Something that GI credits coach Mal Meninga with instituting.

"That's what Mal spoke about when he first took over as head coach. He wants to make this game very important. This game, for a majority of the boys, are trial games before the Four Nations, ANZAC Test and World Cup next year," said Inglis.

"All the boys want to put their best foot forward and Mal wants that pride in the Jersey again."
