Finishing The Season At Home: Clark

Jason Clark spoke to NRL media and gave his thoughts on the last week of the Rabbitohs season with hopes to see plenty of Red and Green out at ANZ Stadium on Friday night.

Answering questions regarding the Rabbitohs absence in the finals series, Clark describes the position as not ideal however believes there is still a chance to finish off the season in style by putting their best foot forward on Friday night.

“It’s something you always aim for at the start of the year, it’s not ideal for us but we are going to go out on Friday night and put our best foot forward,” said Clark.

The Rabbitohs have a short week of training following up a Sunday game with a Friday night clash for the final round in the season.

“We’ve got a shorter week this week so a short turn around, it’s more about looking after the bodies and get the bodies right for Friday night’s game with a short turn around.”

Clark, who has taken the field 22 times this season and clocked up a 93.7 per cent effective tackle rate through 580 successful tackles, will be looking forward to finish off the season tomorrow night in front of a large Rabbitohs crowd.

“Even though it’s a Bulldogs home game, it’s definitely our home ground as well so I think our ticketed members get access to the games so I’m sure there will be plenty of Red and Green out there."

The South Sydney Rabbitohs return to ANZ Stadium to take on the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs for the final match of our 2016 NRL season.
