The Body Is Feeling Good: Reynolds

Rabbitohs Halfback Adam Reynolds says he's feeling good to take the field on Sunday against the Newcastle Knights at Hunter Stadium after picking up a head knock on Monday and is confident in putting in a good performance.

Unable to register 80 minutes on the field for two consecutive matches, Reynolds is eager to run out against the Knights and dismisses any concern over niggling injuries.

"Last week against the Warriors was a bit of a niggle," said Reynolds.

"Head knocks you can't help in the game - they're just things that come and go. You could pick one up whenever.

"The body's feeling good at the moment. The niggles are all gone and I'm just looking forward to getting out there and putting in a good performance."

Reynolds says the Rabbitohs are as motivated as ever to take on a driven Newcastle Knights side who celebrate their Old Boys Day this Sunday and says Souths will be playing for our passionate Members and fans.

"We play for that Jersey," said Reynolds.

"We've got a lot of proud Members out there, we play for them every week. We know there's a lot on the line.

"Newcastle always lift for this game - it's the old boys game for them so no doubt they'll turn up fired up.

"We've turned in a few good performances now it's just about continuing that on for the rest of the year."

With season 2016 nearing its end Reynolds admits he'll miss the football during the offseason.

"I love playing footy, it's my job. It's always good playing footy and it's what makes us happy," said Reynolds.

"The break will be good but I'll miss the footy."
