Hymel Hunt is eager to play this weekend in front of friends and family as the Rabbitohs head to Auckland to take on the New Zealand Warriors.

Hunt returned to the field last weekend after a pectoral injury in round 8 saw him out of the game for 14 and a half weeks.

The New Zealand born centre is pleased to be back in the Red & Green and believes the team has a high level of energy going in to this weekend’s game.

“It was good to get out there with the boys and get the footy in hand,” said Hunt.

“It’s very energetic, especially after last week’s game.

“Last performance we performed very well so we are just taking our energy into the next game.

“We’ve got to rock up with the right attitude.”
